Helen takes a different approach to organizing. She doesn't try to fit people into a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, she helps people discover what method of organizing best fits their personality and the way they work.

Helen was so inspiring to our group. With wonderful tips and helpful ideas, she showed us that even mothers of preschoolers can have an organized home. Thank you, Helen, for your warm and personal stories and ideas relating perfectly to our stage of life.

I used Helen to help organize my home office. With limited space and voluminous files, she helped me determine what was really important and she taught me how and what to purge. Along with recommendations for filing alternatives, labeling, storage options, etc. she has managed to turn my 10' x 12' space into a workable, efficient and, most importantly, welcoming area in which to face the less desirable aspects of my life. Thank you, Helen, for a cheerful, reasonable, non-judgmental experience that I can carry on with fresh confidence. Your input has been priceless to me.

Helen helped me see the changes I needed to make to become more organized, efficient, and effective, and she helped me get started on making those changes. The relief and reduction in stress has been an unexpected benefit as well as the increase in time I have to spend with friends and enjoy life. If for some reason my employer were not willing to pay Helen for the time she's helped me in my workplace, I would pay for it out of pocket. Her assistance has been invaluable.

Helen managed to do what we had been unable to do. She got our mother looking at her stuff in a new way. "Do I really need this?" and "Do I really need ALL of this?" are two examples. As a result, Mom has been able to eliminate quite a bit of unnecessary baggage from her household, making more room for her and the possessions she actually uses, and understanding that for them to be of real use to her, they should be conveniently and sensibly placed.

So you think you're organized? I have some ADHD issues that give me difficulty staying on task. I even had some systems in place to help me. One of my problems was the inability to "work" the systems already created. This is where Helen came in. She helped change my thought process towards organization in my office setting. Although I am still a "work in progress," spending a few hours learning her organizational skills proved tremendous. It would not be a waste of your time.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for just a great day! I know it will take some practice adapting to some of the new habits you have suggested, but I clearly see how they will benefit me. Hopefully this is the beginning of significantly fewer panic attacks in my endless search for things! Thank you for your patient and helpful ways.

Helen helped me clarify my priorities and set manageable and practical goals. She then guided me through the decision-making process, showing me how to evaluate and weigh options. Her moral support and encouragement made me feel confident about my choices. The changes in my physical environment have made such a difference in my “mental” environment that I have a new outlook on my home and myself.

I’m the Executive Director of an education association in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Helen was the incumbent Director of Marketing and Communications when I took over as CEO in 1998. That job title covered her activities in the publishing and marketing realms. Her skills for strategic planning and execution were superb, but that’s the subject of another memo. What you want to know right now is what her qualifications are as an organizer or project manager in your office.
Whenever I needed information or a copy of a “lost” document, I could count on Helen to find or retrieve it. Her decision to transfer her skills into professional organizing is a brilliant stroke.
I can throw out some adjectives—direct, honest, efficient, effective, intelligent. Helen led teams (and served on them, too) with tact and energy.
If you’re considering hiring Helen for any business project that involves organizing, prioritizing, or streamlining, don’t hesitate for a minute. She’s one of the most valuable outsource partners you could have.

As an individual with Attention Deficit Disorder I have difficulty maintaining order in my home. It’s a daily struggle that, at times, has overwhelmed me. Having Helen’s help proved invaluable. She has the ability to assess a situation quickly and objectively and get down to business. Her relaxed manner and keen wit help to put clients at ease while, together, you make molehills out of mountains. Her follow-up is phenomenal. She will call and/or send e-mail to help clients stay on track and feel that they are never far from her thoughts.

You know the old Chinese saying: Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Give him a fishing pole, and he'll eat for the rest of his life? Helen not only gives you the fishing pole, she teaches you how to use it, how to repair it, and how, tactfully, to do the same for others. Common sense infused with uncommon energy, she solves problems with you so that at the end of the day, you feel, and are, competent to face the next challenge. There's no one else I'd rather have as a coach or advisor.

I so appreciate the information you sent to me after your time with me. I haven’t been able to utilize it as yet, but it was such an encouragement and help to spend time with you. Now I have a focus and it relieves my brain from trying to figure it out and my mind from worrying about it.

Helen and I were colleagues in a busy nonprofit office in the Washington area. We were under constant pressure to do more with less. Having observed the efficiency with which Helen managed her office and staff, I thought she might be able to help me with office clutter as well as my bachelor lifestyle clutter. In both cases she was immensely helpful. I still have the plan she was kind enough to write up for my home. The result was that the systems we put in place continue to serve me today, some years after she moved to Florida.

Helen has superb interpersonal skills. She is a natural diplomat, forceful and firm when necessary, yet recognizes other viewpoints and perspectives. She is particularly strong in working with small groups because in such settings her administrative talents, wisdom, and diplomatic skills help the team, so that members accomplish mutually-determined goals. People enjoy working with Helen one-on-one because they have the opportunity to learn from her and thus develop new skills and competencies.
